Hello
I'm Chris Snell, 59 years old, living with what is believed to be Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS). When I'm not experiencing episodes, I focus on finding ways to enhance this site at no extra cost, as I haven't been able to work for over a year due to this condition. It's a long story leading to where I am today. I started this journey back in 2010 when I started LotAShopping.net. That was the beginning to my passion to help the homeless!
My Story
In 1999, I experienced my first significant episode of CVS (cyclic vomiting syndrome), and it has gradually worsened since then. I've undergone various medical evaluations, resulting in only a few minor issues, likely due to a week of vomiting. I had a fist-sized tumor removed in early 2024, but 20-30% remains attached to my L4, so I'm preparing for my second six-month scan to monitor any growth. Following, I will have annual check-ups, and if it is growing, radiation will be an option. After struggling with severe hemorrhoids for 25 years, I finally had them surgically removed, which has significantly improved my condition and lowered my blood pressure. I served as a Naval Photographer for 6.5 years before transitioning to a photo lab and then the plastic industry. In June 2000, I began my trucking career, hauling rock and sand for over 20 years until I was laid off on February 14, 2022. I decided due to the severity of CVS, I decided to transfer into a warehouse position. It took six months to secure a job at CVS, where I worked until going on disability on September 11, 2023, during which I had surgeries for the tumor and hemorrhoids. Although I haven't been officially with CVS yet, I suspect that's what I have. I'm due for a long-overdue diagnosis in less than two months. The struggles I've faced over the past 25 years, along with the impact on my loved ones, have been immense. Through this message, I hope to inspire you to take action and not waste money idly waiting to help the homeless.
